Home 9 Podiatry Medical Program 9 Curriculum

Program Specifics

Rotation Sites:

During the 3-year residency program, residents will rotate through the following Hospitals/Sites for clinic and/or surgery:

  1. Chino Valley Medical Center
    2. Kaiser Permanente Medical Center- Central Valley California
    3. Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
    4. Western University of Health Sciences
    6. San Antonio Ambulatory Surgery Center
    7. Bakersfield locations (several)
    8. Gardena Memorial Hospital
    9. Ontario Surgery Center
    10. Montclair Hospital
    11. Empire Foot and Ankle
    12. Garey Orthopaedics

Curriculum/Rotations

Clinical and surgical experiences with elective and nonelective forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle procedures. Diverse clinical & surgical experience. Strong emphasis on academics and critical evaluation.
 

  • Year 1: Medical Imaging, Internal Medicine/Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Anesthesia, Orthopedic Trauma
  • Year 2: Behavioral Sciences, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, General Surgery, Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic Trauma, and Neurology.
  • Year 3: Podiatry all 12 months
