Here’s How We Sectionalize Our Services.
Clinical Chemistry
Our laboratory is equipped with specialized assays for patient care and is managed by certified clinicians who provide round-the-clock pathological testing services. We leverage various techniques powered by advanced instrumentation technology, such as chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. From routine tests to clinical pharmacology and toxicology, our clinical laboratory is well-equipped to empower care clinicians with the right treatment path for patients.
Clinical Microbiology
The Clinical Microbiology laboratory at CVMC offers diagnostic bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology, and mycobacteriology services. It functions under strict government regulations to receive specimens from in-patients and provide care clinicians with a detailed schematic of a patient’s prognosis. From cultures to amplified probe tests, our clinical microbiology services ensure that no infections go undetected in patients.
Hematology
We provide comprehensive testing services to detach malignant and non-malignant blood conditions. Our certified lab technicians are trained to detect many blood-related conditions, such as anemia, sickle cell disease, thalassemia, blood clots, and hemophilia. Our efforts enable doctors to effectively detect thrombotic disorders, iron overload, and bleeding disorders.
Blood Banking
Blood banking services ensure that donated blood is free from infectious diseases. Some common tests involved in blood banking services include determining the blood group type (blood typing), Rh Typing, screening for antibodies and filtering T-Lymphocytes and white blood cells to make the blood transfusion process safe.
Histopathology
The microscopic examination of tissues holds essential insights into many diseases. Hence clinicians prepare glass slides of tissue and cell specimens and stain them with dyes to examine them under the microscope. The branch of science studying tissue samples to detect abnormalities is called histopathology. Our histopathological services are one of the essential aspects of disease detection. Our trained technicians leverage the latest equipment, such as microtomes, centrifuges, slide warmers and microscopes, to give care clinicians an accurate account of the prognosis to help treat patients effectively.
