David Arnold, DO

PGY4 (Chief)

Dr. David Arnold – R3 – is originally from Idaho and studied at BYU-Idaho for his Bachelor’s degree. He decided to venture out east to attend medical school at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) followed by time spent in Ohio and Florida for internship and research fellowship. Now dermatology residency has brought him back west to California where he plans to stay and practice medical dermatology. He enjoys weight lifting, hiking, watching science fiction movies, and reading fantasy novels, as well as going on as many roller coasters as he can!

Kately Urban, DO

DR. Katie Urban – R2 – Graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, PA. I chose the Prime West Dermatology Residency Program in Newport Beach because the residents are well-supported in their goals. My future plan is to practice general dermatology. Hobbies include playing soccer and mountain biking.

Armaan Guraya, DO

PGY2

Dr. Armaan Guraya grew up in the Bay Area of California. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology at UCLA, he then worked at a med-tech start up in San Francisco. He ultimately attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where he received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his internship at Howard University Hospital. Since then, Dr. Guraya has joined the Dermatology Residency with Prime West Consortium to be closer to home, where he plans to focus on treating patients from his community. His hobbies including reviewing local pizzerias and taquerias, and hiking different nature trails.
