Application Process
Resident Requirements
- Scientific Papers – Prepare two papers or manuscripts during each year of training
- Mandatory Meetings – Annual Fall AAD Meeting (maybe provide a link to the AAD meeting page?)
- Optional Meetings – ASDS annual meeting, ACDS annual meeting, (Perhaps add links to these pages?)
- Elective Rotations – Each resident is allotted four weeks of elective rotations each academic year
Application Criteria
Applications are considered complete when they include a CV, USMLE/COMLEX Transcripts, Medical School Transcripts, Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE), three (3) letters of recommendation (with at least one from a Dermatologist) and personal statement.
- The ideal applicant would have
- Graduated from an AMA/AOA accredited medical school
- Completed an AMA/AOA approved internship
Required Application Materials
- A complete ERAS application will include:
- Curriculum Vitae
- USMLE/COMLEX Transcript
- Medical School Transcript
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Three letters of reference, two being from practicing dermatologists
- Personal Statement
- Professional Photo
